Exotic pets deserve special veterinary attention. At Heritage Pet Hospital, we understand the unique needs of pets such as rabbits, hedgehogs, reptiles, guinea pigs, gerbils, fancy rats, and snakes.

We have exciting news!
Please join us in welcoming our newest doctor to the Heritage Pet Hospital team!
Dr. Chris Dahlke graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Chris grew up on a small farm in central Minnesota raising a multitude of animal species and exhibiting livestock in 4-H and FFA. Prior to joining Heritage Pet Hospital, Dr. Chris practiced mixed animal medicine first in northern Wisconsin and most recently in Zumbrota, MN before deciding to focus solely on companion animal medicine. Dr. Chris is married to Dr. Amy, a large animal veterinarian, and has two young daughters along with a small hobby farm north of Zumbrota raising cattle, sheep, honeybees, and poultry. Dr. Chris has a German Shorthair Pointer, a house cat, and a host of other small creatures calling his barn home. In his spare time Dr. Chris enjoys camping and hiking in our state and national parks, as well as exhibiting livestock on a state and national level.
Dr. Chris is a wonderful addition to our already amazing medical team, and we cannot wait for you to meet him! Give us a call to make your pet’s next appointment with him!
