Deb has over 24 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Waseca with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Deb was with Heritage Pet Hospital from 1992-1997 as a CVT then left to explore other avenues in the veterinary field. She spent six years in Florida in emergency medicine and has been back at Heritage since 2003 as the Practice Manager. Deb earned the distinction of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) in 2006 by successfully passing the certification exam offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA). Deb also graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior in 2015 earning her Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP) status and she is also Fear Free Certified. Deb often works in tandem with the doctors at Heritage consulting with clients on behavior cases. Deb shares her home with her husband and their three human boys; two dogs, Cecil and Wilma; three cats, Muddy, Gidget and Gertie and a tortoise named Carol.

Krista graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in October 2012 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Upon graduation, Krista joined the Heritage Pet Hospital team right away. What Krista enjoys most about coming to work every day is working with a close, hard-working team, dentistry, animal behavior, and being able to use all of her nursing skills daily. Krista is Fear Free Certified and helps consult with behavior cases in the clinic. In her spare time, Krista enjoys camping, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Krista shares her life with her husband, Jesse; their dogs, Brick and Luna; their cats, Gizzmo and Leo, and their bird; Donny.

Kathy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Waseca in1988 with an A.A.S degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since September 1, 1988, and has grown to know many of our clients and their pets quite well over the years! Kathy has a passion for her career and believes pets are members of the family that deserve the best care. Kathy enjoys being part of a talented veterinary team and getting to utilize her nursing skills every day! Some of her special interests include managing the care for diabetic patients and mentoring/teaching veterinary technology students from RCTC. Kathy earned her Fear Free Certification in March 2019 and finds it very rewarding to help pets “love” coming to visit the vet! Kathy is also involved in the community by sitting on the Advisory Board for the Rochester Community and Technical College’s Veterinary Technology Program and the Advisory Committee for the Olmsted-Rochester Law Enforcement K9 Foundation. She and her husband David share a home with their “furbaby” cat “Milo” and in her spare time, Kathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, yoga, enjoying a good cup of coffee and summer vacations in Northern Minnesota.

Cheryl is a 1982 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Waseca and has an A.A.S degree in Veterinary Technology.  She has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since 1999.  Her Special interests Include avian health & behavior, geriatric felines and feline behavior, & pharmacy & inventory management.  At home, Cheryl enjoys training and playing with her Australian Shepard, Siamese cat & 2 African Grey Parrots.

Amy graduated from the Medical Institute of MN in 1995 with an Associate in Applied Science degree. She has worked in the Veterinary field for 24years and has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since October of 2007. Her favorite thing about coming to work every day is being part of a close-knit team, and the satisfaction of working with our clients and helping them heal. Amy’s special interests include dentistry and radiology. In her spare time Amy enjoys pool league, camping, golfing, hiking and participating in the VFW Auxiliary. She shares her home with her husband, Dave, her dogs Morgan (a Lab/German Shorthair cross), Bailey (a Lab/Husky cross), Hudson (puggle) and a long-haired orange tabby cat named Jack. They just moved into their newly built home in September 2018 which resides on a beautiful 5-acre wooded lot!

JoAnne graduated from Argosy University with an Associated of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in December of 2018. Since then she has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She started working at Heritage Pet Hospital in August of 2020. Her favorite thing about her job is working closely with surgery and anesthesia patients. Dentals and surgery procedures are her bread and butter. She also enjoys working with such a close-knit and supportive team here at Heritage Pet Hospital.

She has always had a deep-rooted love of animals. Growing up her family was never short on fur companions and once she was on her own, she didn’t hesitate to begin her own fuzzy family. She has three long-haired cats. One beautiful calico named Anastasia who only answers to KitCat, another handsome orange and white tabby named Captain Nemo, and a new addition, a little adorable white and brown tabby named Pineapple Cream. She also has a purebred mutt named Jen who would lick anyone to death. The last pet to round off her fur family is a scaley member, a Corn Snake named Skittles. She also shares her home with her fairly well-trained husband Josh. They recently had a beautiful baby girl named Mirabell, who is the light of their life. In her free time, she enjoys a menagerie of outdoor activities including but not limited to horseback riding, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and gardening to name a few. She also enjoys just curling up on the couch with her pets, some coffee, and a good book.

Brandi has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since March 2023. After working for 13 years in a nursing home, she went back to school and graduated in 2013 from the Minnesota School of Business with an AAS degree in Veterinary technology. Brandi has worked in small and large animal clinics throughout the 4 different counties. She is Fear Free Certified and absolutely loves the positive atmosphere at Heritage. Brandi is grateful for the wonderful people she works with, who make coming to work exciting! Drawing blood is her favorite thing as well as talking and joking with all of the clients. Brandi has 1 dog, Bailey, 2 cats, Gizmo and Jaxon and also has 3 nephews that are the highlight of her days. Brandi enjoys spending time with family and friends, going out to eat, reading and watching tv.

Liz shares her life with her husband, Taylor; their three children, Wyatt, Gabriel, and Hadley; their dogs, Moose, Reese, Koda, and Thor(pictured); their cats, Luigi, Mario, and Winifred; and their guinea pigs.

Meghan graduated from the Madison area Technical College in Madison, WI in May 2022 with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. Meghan is excited to be part of the Heritage Pet Hospital team because of their outstanding reputation for providing the best care for their clients, pets and staff. Meghan is interested in getting Fear Free Certified and to learn more about how to help with behavior cases and her goals also include continuing her education and getting her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in anesthesia and/or dentistry in the near future. In Meghan’s free time, she enjoys traveling to different places to hike, going to concerts and spending time at the river or cabin and she lives with her dog, Rosie and her boyfriend, Dustin.

Lindsey graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College in May 2015 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined Heritage Pet Hospital in July 2022. Prior to coming to work for Heritage, Lindsey worked as a Vet Tech for 3 years and as a lab processing assistant for 3 ½ years. While working as a lab processing assistant, Lindsey realized that working with animals is her passion and she wants to continue to help animals on a daily basis to become happy and healthy. What Lindsey enjoys most about working at Heritage Pet Hospital is being part of a close-knit team. She enjoys all aspects of being a veterinary technician, mostly assisting in surgeries and dentals, performing dental cleanings, and also lab diagnostics. Lindsey is interested in becoming Fear Free certified to help with behavior cases as well. In Lindsey’s spare time, you will see her hiking, watching movies, spending time with all of her pets, and hanging out with friends and family. Lindsey shares her home with her husband, 2 dogs, Fiona (an old English bulldog), Stryker (a lab mix), and 2 cats, Drake and Rihanna.

Mikayla is currently attending Rochester Community and Technical College to start classes in their Veterinary Technology Program to become a certified veterinary technician and to finish her Bachelor of Science-Veterinary Technology degree at UWRF. She will graduate from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in May of 2023. She enjoys coming to work every day because every day is a new “adventure”, and everyone here makes work so much fun and enjoyable. She loves being able to interact with pets of all kinds and getting to know our clients as well. In Mikayla’s spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, gaming, horseback riding, kayaking, camping, shopping, watching tv, and spending time with family, friends, and pets. Her furry family members include a cat named Purr Box, a guinea pig named Pig-Pig, a horse named Bandit, two rabbits named Rosemary and Baby, and the multitude of other pets that her family has.

Darcy joined the Heritage Pet Hospital staff in June of 2022. She is currently in the Veterinary Technology Program at Rochester Community Technical College and is scheduled to graduate in 2023. After certification, she intends to find a specialty within the field relating to behavior, rehabilitation, dentistry, or ophthalmology depending on what she gravitates toward in the clinic and during the remainder of her coursework. After starting as a client with her two dogs, Sia and Ru, Darcy is now excited to work with the caring and talented team at Heritage Pet Hospital. During downtime, she enjoys all activities that involve her dogs, including walks, dog park trips, and training activities like speech buttons. She also loves to rock climb at Roca Climbing Gym, travel, kayak, hunt for agates, and binge a good Netflix series.

Mel has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since October 2023. She is currently in the Penn Foster Program working towards her AAS in Veterinary Technology. Her life passion was always to work with animals in some way. Mel has experience in pet grooming, volunteering at a reptile zoo and has been a Veterinary Assistant for the past 3 years. Her favorite animals are cats and exotic creatures. Mel enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, and taking care of her mini farm at home. She shares a life with her husband, cats, dogs, snakes, chickens and ducks.

Breanna has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since March 2023. She is currently in the Penn Foster program to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. After graduation, Breanna would love to get certified in nutrition as well to help clients get the education that they need. Breanna has a Lab/Great Dane mix named Freyja, and a tabby cat named Bane. She obsesses over any large breed dog that comes through the door! In her free time, Breanna loves going longboarding, hiking with her dog, and watching the latest horror movies. Breanna’s favorite part of working at Heritage is doing surgery and building bonds with clients and their pets.

Molly has worked with the Heritage Pet Hospital team since 2013. She is proud to be a part of the Heritage Pet Hospital team. The highlights of her work are getting to meet, greet and help our patients and clients in every way possible and going home satisfied, knowing that she has made a difference in a pet’s life. She has learned so much while working in a veterinary clinic with the help of the wonderful team-oriented staff!

Molly lives in Rochester with her husband, Dale and their three children, Connor, Brayden and Alissa. She also has her pet rabbit, Rosie and her Guinea Pig, Nadine.

Kelsey joined the Heritage Pet Hospital Team in the Spring of 2018. She has always had a love for animals and working at Heritage has just strengthened that passion. Since she doesn’t have any dogs or cats at home, she will love yours up when they come in for their appointments! She loves joking around with clients and learning about their pets. Kelsey wasn’t used to being around exotics until working at Heritage but has fallen in love with them. She now has two adorable guinea pigs at home named Mash Potato and Turtle Sundae. Kelsey’s free time consists of spoiling her guinea pigs, watching movies and spending time with family.

Lauren has had a love for animals since she was a toddler and knew she wanted to work with them in the future. At home, Lauren has 5 cats, Luna (Chonks) because she is hefty, Nova, Ash, Charlotte and her new addition, Sue. She also has a dog name Freya who is the sweetest Pit Bull ever! Lauren also has a Bearded Dragon named Beardie (so cheesy!) and 4 crested geckos. Lauren loves going on adventures, whether it’s hiking, kayaking or even just visiting places and enjoying nature. She collects crystals and rocks and has a love for cars (especially Subarus). No matter what pet you bring into our clinic, Lauren will be sure to treat it and love it as if it were her own!
